Amaranth veneered chest of drawers, with frieze decoration and dark brass fluting. It opens with two rows of drawers and three drawers in the upper section. The sides are scalloped at the bottom and adorned with a female mask. The uprights are straight and the rounded fronts are enriched with three flutes. They stand on curved legs. Gilded bronze trim: female mask escutcheons, drop handles on rosettes, shell apron and set clogs. Top of molded Médicis Breche marble. Stamped : L DE LAITRE (on the base of the front left jamb) Louis DELAITRE Master in 1738. Paris. Regency period. H_84 cm W_96 cm D_54 cm . Unidentified mark: C I (on the base of the rear right jamb).
