Louise Henriette de Bourbon (June 20, 1726 - February 9, 1759) - Mademoiselle de Conti at birth, Duchess of Orléans at her death - married Louis-Philippe d'Orléans, also known as le Gros, then Duc de Chartres, on December 17, 1743. On his father's death in 1752, Louis-Philippe became the fourth Duke of Orléans. Although chosen as his wife for his religious upbringing, Louise Henriette's troubled life was marked by ongoing scandal due to her many lovers. Assuming the title Madame la Princesse, she became the grandmother of the French king, Louis-Philippe. She died at the age of 33 at the Palais-Royal in Paris on February 9, 1759.
