Work in the taste of the sculptor Francesco Bolgiè (1752-1834). This Italian console table from the early Neoclassical period is reminiscent in its ornamental grammar of works produced in Piedmontese workshops. The frieze of openwork interlacing on a blue background, the garlands of oak leaves and the tapered uprights resting on spiral feet terminating in corks are similar to the treatments of the sculptures produced in the workshop of Francesco Bolgié, supplier to the royal and princely residences of Turin, Moncalieri and Stupinigi.
