LEK (born 1971) & SOWAT (born 1978) Villa Médicis Silkscreen print, signed by both artists lower left, numbered 50 X50 on back 47 cm x 61 cm Provenance: Private collection Paris Lek and Sowat were the first artists from the graffiti movement to be invited to the Villa Médicis. They also have one of their works in the permanent collection of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, a digital work called "Tracés direct", which invites international graffiti artists to paint in turn on a chalkboard.
