Queen-size flat-back armchair in carved and gilded beechwood, decorated with burst pomegranates, staples and rocaille. The violin-shaped backrest features curved armrests with cuffs, supported by recessed brackets. The flared seat rests on cambered legs finished with acanthus scrolls. Tapestry cover decorated with roses, tulips and carnations, edged with curved brass nails. Paris. Louis XV period, circa 1730. H_93 cm W_68 cm D_52 cm. Wear to the tapestry and gilding.
