Fine antique Senneh rug (northwest Persia), late 19th century Wool velvet on cotton backing. Fairly good condition. Slight natural oxidation. Remarkable fineness. Density: approx. 8500 knots per dm2. Pale celadon green and ivory field decorated with double interlocking medallions with Herati motifs. Four brick-red spandrels echoing the central field.
