Fine antique Kirman Laver rug (Persia), circa 1870/80 Wool velvet on cotton backing. Natural oxidation and wear. Ivory field decorated with multicolored stylized palmettes of flowers and foliage framing a central midnight-blue elongated diamond-shaped floral medallion, inlaid with polychrome floral bulbs.
