Exceptional, very fine and important Nain Toudech rug (Iran), mid-20th century, imperial workshop High-quality silky lambswool "Kork" velvet on cotton backing. Density: approx. 9,000 knots per dm2. Good overall condition. High-quality Nain Toudech are differentiated and recognized by their red terminal line. Ivory field decorated with polychrome semis of palmettes and stylized flower bulbs, surrounded by fine crenellated twisted stems with finely drawn serrated foliage endings.
