Original antique Melas rug (western Asia Minor), late 19th century Wool velvet on wool foundation. Good overall condition. Remarkable freshness of colors. Beautiful condition. A collector's item! Abraché brick field, decorated with four diamond-shaped medallions formed by saffron-yellow and ivory serrated branches, inlaid with geometrically stylized flower buds and sprigs in polychrome.
