Claude de FRANCE. 1499-1524. Eldest daughter of Louis XII and Anne de Bretagne, married in 1514 the Duc d'Angoulême, future François I King of France. P.S. Piece signed by the Queen as Countess of Blois, complaining to her accounting administrators that her escuyer d'Honneur François Grimault (Sr de la Risvetière) has not yet received the "three gifts" made to him on February 5, "of which we are not satisfied because of the prejudice it causes to our said escuyer (...)". She expressly instructs us to carry out this request by all reasonable means, ceasing all dellays and delays in payment.
