Half-moon-shaped chest of drawers in European polychrome and gilded varnish imitating Chinese lacquer on a black background. It opens with two recessed drawers and two side panels. The front and sides are decorated with pagodas in lake and tree landscapes, animated by horsemen, figures and animals. Chased and gilded bronze trim: lock escutcheons, drop rings on macaroons, falls, rings and set clogs. Grey Saint-Anne marble top. Paris. Late 18th century. Circa 1785.
