PAIR OF LARGE CANDELABRES with vestals in chased, gilded and patinated bronze with nine lights. It features a woman dressed in antique style, crowned by eight arms adorned with acanthus and rosettes. The cups and binnacles are embellished with foliage. The ensemble rests on a grey Saint-Anne marble column, adorned with molding, wheat ears, strings of pearls and a frieze of grained laurels, on a square base. Paris. 19th century. Circa 1830. H_101 cm (Minor accidents to the marbles).
