1721. Royal Almanac - Lot 8
1721. Royal Almanac for the year 1721 (…). Paris: Laurent d’Houry, 1721. In-8, stiff ivory vellum, ribbed spine decorated with gilded lilies, red morocco title labels, gilded fillets framing the covers, lilies in the spandrels, heraldic stamp in the center, blue silk fasteners, gilt edges (contemporary binding). Some missing silk ties; gilding on the covers has been restored. Blank pages inserted between the calendar pages. A copy from the library of the Marquis d’Argouges, bearing his coat of arms on the binding.
