Pre-publication edition of Alain-Fournier’s famous novel, published in five installments in *La Nouvelle Revue française* from July 1 to November 1, 1913; under the direction of Jacques Copeau, the journal published *Le Grand Meaulnes* prior to its release by Emile-Paul frères in September 1913, alongside works by Jules Renard, François-Paul Alibert, Jacques Rivière, Paul Claudel, Martin du Gard, and André Gide. Slight internal discoloration on the last few pages of the first volume; a few scattered foxing spots.
