Pair of three-light vestal candelabra in chased, gilded and - Lot 101
Pair of three-light vestal candelabra in chased, gilded and patinated bronze. It features an antique draped woman supporting three arms, adorned with acanthus scrolls, water leaves and fruit. They are linked by chains embellished with small balls. The central shaft is topped with a pinecone. The whole rests on a cylindrical base in white Carrara marble, embellished with strings of pearls and acanthus friezes. Paris. Louis XVI period. H_57 cm W_18 cm Restoration. One arm fractured.
