Openwork pediment mirror in molded, carved and gilded wood. It forms a frame adorned with a string of pearls, twisted ribbons, rosettes and a scraper embellished with leafy stems, enclosing a mercury mirror. It is crowned by a large floral vase flanked by two doves, surrounded by wide acanthus scrolls and laurel garlands. The ensemble stands on small feet. France. Louis XVI period.
