Rectangular chest of drawers with curved front in molded, carved and waxed oak, opening on three rows with four drawers, two of which are in the first row. The front features six reserves and three medallions surrounded by moldings. The sides have a "chapeau de gendarmes" motif. The straight uprights, rounded on the fronts, rest on small straight legs. Polished and varnished bronze trim: lock escutcheons and leafy handles. Grey Saint Anne marble top. Stamped J. F THUILLIER. (on the base of the front right jamb). Jean Francois THUILLIER. He is said to have worked for Jean-François CEben, and it is likely that his work for the latter consisted of furniture frames.
