Prussian blue field decorated with rows of brick-red palmettes and floral bulbs shaped like stylized crabs, surrounded by ivory floral buds shaped like stylized diamonds. Main ruby-red border with a pattern of geometrically stylized tortoise-shell-shaped boxes. Northwest Persia. Early 20th century. L_200 cm W_130 cm Slight natural oxidation. Beautifully fresh colors.
