CODEX VASE. The decoration depicts two palace scenes on a cream background, separated from the red vertical stripes. In the centre, a dignitary sits as a tailor on a throne. His face in profile, is turned to his right. He reaches out his hand in a welcoming gesture. He is dressed in a loincloth. Its set consists of a large necklace and a cap with a bird's head whose feathers fall back into its back. Above, a frieze of stylized glyphs highlights the perimeter of the vase which is bordered with red. Polychrome terracotta.
